WHY DID GOD CREATE MAN?

Welcome to BYFN: Building You, Families, and Nation

At the heart of BYFN lies a profound realization: the strength of a nation rests upon the foundation of its families, and the vitality of families begins with the character and capacity of each individual within them. It is this fundamental truth that drives our mission and inspires our every endeavor.

In a world where chaos often threatens to overshadow clarity and human character and capacity is depleting, we envisioned the following: Individuals who possess the understanding, knowledge, and wisdom necessary to transform their families and nations with God's grace and resilience. These well-equipped individuals, with transformed character and capacity through the teachings of Jesus Christ, form the cornerstone of BYFN's vision for the tomorrow that God intends.

Our mission is nothing short of transformative: to serve as a conduit through which Jesus Christ builds up individuals, families, and ultimately, nations, to maturity. We believe wholeheartedly in the power of understanding, knowledge and wisdom to lay the groundwork for a flourishing society, as exemplified in Proverbs 24:3-4:

"Through wisdom is a house builded; And by understanding it is established; And by knowledge are the chambers filled With all precious and pleasant riches."

These timeless words serve as both a guiding light and a steadfast reminder of the importance of cultivating these virtues in every aspect of our lives. It is through the intentional cultivation of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge that we lay the foundation for strong, resilient families, and by extension, a well-built nation.

But our vision extends beyond mere rhetoric; it is a call to action, an invitation to join us on a journey of growth, empowerment, and positive change. Through a multifaceted approach that encompasses education, mentorship, community outreach, and spiritual guidance, we seek to empower individuals to reach their full potential and to build families that are grounded in love, integrity, and purpose.

Together, let us embark on this noble endeavor, knowing that the work we do today will shape the future for generations to come. With BYFN as our guiding beacon, we can create a world where every individual has the opportunity to thrive, every family is a source of strength and support, and every nation is built upon a foundation of Godly wisdom and understanding.

HOW DO WE BECOME LIKE THE HEAVENLY CITY IN OUR MINDS?

Remember life is a journey and each step we take is called change. If you are not changing in size or form you are seen not to be growing in the natural sense. So is spiritual life, we must keep changing from levels of Glory(Godly Characters ) to greater levels of Glory (Godly Characters) until the perfect stature of the Son of God (until Christ fully saturates our minds). And also what makes the City special is because God dwells in it. If your mind is a habitation of God then you are like the special City and you are meant for the city. Therefore long to be a habitation of God and his glory than u like and wish to enter the City with street of Gold…, I pray none of us will miss it!

WHO DO YOU ASPIRE TO BE?

America for Americans, Japan for Japanese, Britain for British Countries scrutinize those coming into their country to be sure of their purpose in it. Those discovered to have contrary purposes are denied visa or entry. Why? They know a City is like the minds of its inhabitants Likewise the Heavenly CITY(Kingdom of God) that is coming is strictly for the man who has the values of the kingdom of God (man that has the Mind of Christ) Jesus knowing this refered to human as a city. He says a city set upon the hill cannot be hidden I don’t know if u have discovered that the description of the heavenly city in the book of revelation is the same with the breast plate on the garment of the high priest (a man). Check Exodus 28 vs 15 -21 What we need to be built into is the CITY; the habitation of God and his glory.

HOW TO #CHANGE ___ PART 8 Experience God’s grace

It’s difficult to #understand grace without understanding the law. We see God’s perfect #law, His commands, how He wants us to live…and frankly we often don’t measure up. What do we do with the law, with God’s commands? The law is like a mirror for us. When you look into a mirror you may see a big smudge of dirt on your face that you didn’t know was there. The mirror can’t get rid of the dirt, but you’re really glad you looked at that mirror before you walked out the door. In the same way, God’s law reveals our shortcomings, our sins, and we are thankful to see them, so that we can bring them to God, and God can deal with them through His grace. Galatians 3:24 says, “The law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ that we may be justified by faith.” When we come to Christ we know we need a Savior. The fact is, for the rest of our lives, we will always need a Savior. Hebrews 4:13-16 says: “And there is no creature hidden from His sight but all things are opened and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot #sympathize with our #weaknesses but one who has been tempted in all things as we are yet without sin. Let us therefore, draw near with confidence to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” #Naija #Unilag #World #Africa #USA #Uk #London

HOW TO #CHANGE PART7 Stop Hiding in Shame

Have you ever been in a situation where you are getting to know someone, and way down deep inside you say, “I hope they don’t find out this about me?” Or you may tell a good friend, “Please don’t tell anyone this about me.” When we enter our relationship with God, we may think that He is like we are. We think that we need to hide our bad part from Him. However, if we try to hide unacceptable portions of our personality, we can lose touch with our real selves and we can lose touch with God. God is not like this. His ways are not our ways. He doesn’t accept our good part and reject our bad part. He sees us as a whole person. He doesn’t see us as a split personality. He says, “Don’t try to make your bad part better. It’s impossible on your own. No matter how much better you can make it, it will never be good enough, because I am perfect. Give me your good part and your bad part and let me make you whole.” #MUGOYOSamynana #ForFoodonlyDOTcom #NflaneBOLOJO #NEAHosts

HOW TO #CHANGE ___ Part 6: Substitute Good Habits for Bad Ones.

HOW TO #CHANGE ________________________________________ Part 6: Substitute Good Habits for Bad Ones. ________________________________________ Ephesians 4:22-32 - Do not just put off the old man. Put on the new man. Note the examples: Speak truth instead of falsehood (v25), work and give to others instead of stealing (v28), speak good instead of evil (v29), show kindness and forgiveness instead of anger and bitterness (v31,32). Matthew 12:43-45 - A demon left a man but later found the man's life still empty. He moved back in bringing seven other demons with him! Jesus applied this to Israel, but it is a general principle. "Nature hates a vacuum." Remove the air from a bottle, and it will try to get back in. Fill the bottle with something substantial, and the air stays out. So your life cannot stay a spiritual void. It will fill with good or evil. Replace bad habits with good and the bad is less likely to return. For example, suppose you determine to watch less TV, so you turn it off, but sit in front of it with nothing else to do. Soon you will turn it on again. But if you become actively involved in family activities, Bible study, etc., soon you will replace it with other habits. For every bad habit you "put off," find some useful activity to "put on" in its place. ________________________________________

Awolowo (37), Akintola (36), Ahmadu Bello (36) Balewa (34) and Okotie-Eboh (27), Enahoro (27) led the struggle for independence after the death of Macaulay. Only Zik was 42 at the time.

Most of the military administrators who governed the states under the successive military regimes, most of whom are #governors now, were under 30 years. The brief #democratic dispensation which interjected the military interregnums also saw the House of Representatives in particular #populated by majority of members under 30 years as well as some senators.

Get to the Root of the Problem.

Photo: CONTROLLING YOUR ANGER!

Get to the Root of the Problem.

Anger is the fruit of rotten roots. One of the primary roots of anger stems from the family Upbringing. Some angry people come from families with angry leaders. Children learn from their role models and carry on the same behavior in their own lives, eventually passing it on to their own children.

Other Roots of Anger Include...

Injustice—
when people mistreat us but there’s nothing we can do about it, we get angry because we feel it isn't fair. As much as we’d like to change the situation or the person who’s treating us badly, we can't. People can't change people; only God can change people. So it's best to put our energy into praying for the offender.
Strife—which is hidden, repressed anger, begins with judgment, gossip, backbiting and thinking too highly of yourself. Strife is often exhibited in arguing, bickering, heated disagreements and angry undercurrents.

Impatience—
often produces anger when we can't get what we want when we want it. When our progress is hindered or slowed down because of others, it’s easy to become impatient. Most of us struggle with impatience on a daily basis simply because of today's fast-paced world.

Abuse of any kind—
sexual, physical, verbal, emotional or mental abuse almost always leads to anger. They’re all injustices, which eventually leave the abused feeling helpless and angry. Abuse of any kind can’t be ignored. We must deal with it and process it before we can get free of it.

Unmet needs—
can also produce anger. We all have needs that can and should be met by those closest to us; however, they don’t know and understand our needs unless we communicate with them. But even then they may sometimes fail to meet our needs. Therefore, the answer is to go to God with our needs and not to other people.
Jealousy—anger caused by jealousy was one of the first negative emotions mentioned in the Bible. Genesis 4 tells us that Cain killed his brother Abel because he was jealous to the point of being angry. Although this is one of the more extreme results of jealousy, it reminds us of how dangerous jealousy can be.

SEE HOW TO CONTROL YOUR ANGER?

*Face the Truth... And Choose Your Pain*
If you want the great and mighty things God has for you, you must get to the root of anger and deal with it. Get rid of the masks and face the things that happened in your life that made you the way you are today.
Admit that you can't change by yourself. Until the root is removed, it’ll continue to produce one bad fruit after another. Too often we spend our lives dealing with the bad fruit of our behavior, but we never dig deep enough to get to the root of the problem. Actually, when we're faced with anger, we must choose our pain.
Peter tells us to be well-balanced and temperate, withstanding the devil at his onset (see 1 Peter 5:8-9). When you begin to feel anger, it's the perfect time to exercise the fruit of self-control. You may have a good reason to be angry, but don’t use it as an excuse to stay that way. Instead of denying or justifying it, ask God to help you deal with it in a positive way.

*Accept that you are not inferior or superior to anybody*
A feeling of inferiority activate a sense that makes you feel cheated, abused or underrated, even when that was not meant. This feeling is capable of insighting you to anger even when the scene is over.
On the other hand, feeling superior gratifies your anger and delude you from seeing that you cannot control your anger. Superiority hides your flaws and projects you as the judge or the most experienced.

*Take Steps Toward Freedom*
People are born to be free; it’s a gift from God. We’re not to be free from responsibility, but free to be led by the Holy Spirit. Any time our freedom is taken away or given away, we experience anger. Are you willing to go through whatever it takes to be free, or do you want to stay in the mess you're in for the rest of your life? If you want to be free, just start doing what God wants you to do, one step at a time, and you’ll eventually walk out of your messes. When we are battling anger, we must realize that ...we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12 KJV).
When Satan makes you angry, remember that he's trying to keep you from accomplishing the will of God in your life.
In 2 Timothy 4:5, Paul told Timothy to be calm, cool and collected and to keep performing the duties of his ministry. That’s good advice for all of us. When we get angry, we should calm down and start doing what God has called us to do. You can be bitter or better—it's up to you! If you're mad about something, instead of letting it ruin your life, turn it into something good. Overcome evil and anger by praying for those who hurt and abuse you. Forgive them and be a blessing to them. It may not be easy at first, but when you make the decision and stick with it, God will take care of the rest.

We hope you find this helpful. Kindly share with at least 5 people.

*PRACTICAL KEYS TO STOP SEXUAL SIN* - Don't Ignore

As we long to become a better person, note that there are strongholds within us that must be displaced, before Godly nature, eternal virtues of truth and love can be placed in their rightful positions within us.

*That make me come to this question*
Are you aware that there is a battle Going on within you as you are trying to change? Sexual #sin an unlawful occupiers of the mind and body is waging war in order to retain its position in us, trying to resist being displaced.

Amazing Fact About The Bible

An #EXPLOSION has rocked the Nyanya Park in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory.
Eye witness accounts say #casualties are high but can’t confirm the exact figures.
The incident is said to have occurred at about 6.45 am during the rush hour.
NSCDC officials, Fire Service, NEMA, the DSS and Police have been on ground battling to contain the situation.

One of the victims at Nyanya Park, Kunle Bamidele, told Channels Television that he was on a queue to get on a bus when he and other passengers heard a loud blast and scampered to safety.
